The Texas Education Agency is excited to be hiring 2 new Performance Managers in the Strategic Initiatives Division (SID).
The Alignment and Delivery Unit within SID oversees the performance management structure for the agency in support of 5.5. million public school students in Texas. We are responsible for driving the achievement of TEA’s Strategic Plan with a focus on results. Performance Managers support initiative planning with agency staff, foster collaboration across divisions, monitor and report on progress, analyze data, and problem solve.
These positions report to the Director of Performance Management and are an excellent opportunity to work closely with the Commissioner of Education, Deputy Commissioners, and other senior internal stakeholders at TEA. We are seeking candidates with experience in the education sector who have managed complex project(s) and demonstrated leadership through influence. Classroom experience is a plus!
